A message from Kevin Cox

I started my career in youth ministry at St. Andrews in Redondo Beach and from 2012-2021 I worked at St. Peters by the Sea with High School and Middle School ministry. During my time at St. Peters I completed a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Also during that time I coached Freshman Football at PV High (4 years) and Girls Lacrosse at Miraleste (2 years).

Personally, my faith was brought to life by the Holy Spirit when I was in Middle School. It changed my life forever. That change was facilitated by committed caring adults, volunteering in my church's youth group. Youth Group became a second home for me in Middle School. I'm so grateful for those adult's who showed up for me during one of life's most awkward phases. My hope is to offer similar spaces for students at RHLS.

My goal for Youth Group this year is to offer students a space of Grace. A place to be themselves, let it all hang out and treat others the way they want to be treated.
